Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Sprite Collector ("the App") collects and how it is used. The short version: the App stores only what it needs to run the tracker and its trading features — your Discord identity and your collection — and that data is never sold or shared.

1. What we collect

  • Your Discord user ID — to identify your account and tie your collection to it.
  • Your Discord display name and avatar — to show who you are in the App. If you upload a custom profile picture, it replaces the Discord avatar.
  • Your profile display name — if you choose to change it.
  • Your collection states — which Sprites you mark as Owned or Mastered, and the quantity saved with them.

We don't collect anything else: no email address, no location, no browsing history, and no advertising or profiling data.

2. How your data is used

  • To identify you inside the App.
  • To save your collection so it's still there the next time you open the App.
  • To show opted-in members of your Discord server in the Friends tab.
  • To power the "Ask for Trade" feature.

3. What we never do

Your data is never sold, rented, or traded, and it is never shared with advertisers or data brokers. It is used solely to run Sprite Collector's tracking and trading features for you.

4. Trade requests

When you use "Ask for Trade", the message you confirm is posted into the Discord channel the app owner has configured. Like any Discord message, it is visible to members of that channel — anyone reading the channel can see your message and your Discord identity.

5. Third parties

  • Discord — provides your sign-in identity when you use the App as an Activity.
  • Our cloud hosting — stores the App's database and your profile picture.

6. Storage and security

Your data is stored in the App's private database with access restricted to your own account. Uploaded profile pictures are stored privately, not in a public folder.

7. Retention and your choices

Your collection and profile are kept while your account is in use. You can sign out at any time. To delete your collection, display name, or profile picture entirely, ask the app owner in the Discord server where you use the App, and it will be removed.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the App evolves. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. See also our Terms of Service.
